Care Instructions:

• Rinse after use: Rinse swim trunks with cold water as soon as possible after each use to remove chlorine, salt, sand, and other residues. Rinsing can also reduce the amount of washing needed later. You can also soak the trunks in a sink of cool water for about 30 minutes.
• Pretreat: Before wearing, you can pretreat swim trunks to help them keep their color. Mix two tablespoons of distilled vinegar with a quart of water in a container and soak the trunks for 20–30 minutes.
• Wash regularly: Hand wash swim trunks every few wears with gentle detergent and cold water. You can also wash them on a delicate or slow cycle with like items like underwear or socks. Avoid washing them with heavy items like jeans or towels, and don't use chlorine or oxygen bleach.
• Dry: Lay swim trunks flat to air dry in the shade or a well-ventilated area to preserve their shape and prevent colors from fading. Avoid hanging wet swim trunks, which can cause them to stretch out. You can also put them in a breathable mesh bag to air out if you can't wash them right away.
• Store: When you're done using your swim trunks for the season, store them flat in a breathable fabric garment bag, making sure they're completely dry to prevent mildew. Avoid storing them in plastic bags.
